AWI Extension QLD invests through Leading Sheep, which is a partnership between AWI and Queensland Government, with support from AgForce.

The PAP and RC are tasked with providing strategic advice to the priorities and issues for Queensland woolgrowers, and how and when Leading Sheep can best deliver information, tools and workshops to assist industry.

The objectives of Leading Sheep, identified by the PAP, include:

  1. Network - be an effective conduit between producers, between producers and experts, and between producers and AWI, Queensland Government, and AgForce.
  2. Information source – endeavour to become the go-to source of information on sheep production in Queensland.
